BELT CONVEYOR MAKE : CREATIVE LAB MODEL NO:CLMO-26
DESCRIPTION:
Belt Conveyor as the name suggests, consists of endless belt, suitably supported and driven, which carry or transport solids from place to place. Belts are made of either canvas, reinforced rubber or strip steel etc. Belt conveyors are adapted to wide varieties and quantities of material, require relatively low power, and can transport solid for long distances. The present setup is of lab size moving on two horizontal rollers. The drive is given through a worm reduction gear coupled to a motor. Feed hopper is fitted on one side of conveyor and the other end one collecting tray is placed. It demonstrates the working of belt conveyors as used in the industries. The setup has a special arrangement to change the angle of belt.

DEMONSTRATIONAL SECTION WORKING MODEL OF FOUR STROKE PETROL ENGINE
 Engine type-Single cylinder, four stroke, (Re -condensed Engine) spark ignition, air cooled, petrol engine, engine displacement: 350cc.

·         Dissected from actual original engine. With carburetor, spark plug, valve mechanism etc. complete with all salient parts sectioned for study of the various components and their function and to plot valve-timing diagram on the single cylinder four stroke petrol engine.

·         All systems/components  operational, thereby ensuring that their working can be demonstrated effectively.

·         Provision of necessary attachments for plotting of valve timing diagram.

 


DEMONSTRATIONAL SECTION WORKING MODEL OF TWO STROKE DIESEL ENGINE
 

·         Cut-Sectional demonstration model for class room teaching: Max height of model is approx. 350mm-400mm.

·         The whole body should be made up of Aluminium alloy.

·         Different components should be colored differently for better understanding.

·         The model should be mounted on a wooden/metal base with printed diagram.

·         Ignition should be shown by means of miniature bulb.

·         A handle should be provide on the crank for manual operation.


SCREW CONVEYOR (VARIABLE SPEED) MAKE : CREATIVE LAB MODEL NO:CLMO-27
DESCRIPTION:
The screw conveyor is one of the oldest and most versatile conveyor types. These are compact, requiring little headroom and no return mechanism. The material is also mixed as it passes through the conveyor. Screw or helical flight conveyors consists of a steel shaft having a spiral or helical fin fastened to the shaft and rotating in a trough without touching the trough, so that the helical fin pushes the material along the trough. It is fitted with a variable speed motor. Drive with a compatible reduction gearbox to run the screw conveyor at variable speed. A RPM indicator with Proximity sensor indicates the RPM of conveyor.

To study the effect of various operating parameters on conveying.
To study the effect caused by changing the angle of inclination.
To study the effect of RPM on efficiency of conveyor.

COD DIGESTION APPARATUS
 Description:
C.O.D. Digestion Apparatus is suitable for COD method for monitoring waste water in fluent and effluent, industrial process water, and more. This instrument is used by Pollution Control Labs. Outer cabinet made of mild steel duly coated. Double wall construction with insulation for minimum heat losses increases the efficiency of the system. Aluminum Block with holes (Dimension 40mm Dia. x 80mm Depth) is used to hold 15 nos. COD tubes. Aluminum Block is heated to maintain temperature up to 180 deg. C. Solid state Digital Temperature Controller, appropriate heater and insulation selection assure uniformity in all the samples. Selectable timer up to 120min. with alarm is provided to set the digestion period (Refluxing). After digestion, analyses the sample with either colorimetric or trimetric method.
