BUBBLE CAP DISTILLATION COLUMN MAKE : CREATIVE LAB MODEL NO:CLMT-06
DESCRIPTION:                                                                                                                       
The column is made of Stainless Steel with seven plates for mounting the bubble caps. Each plate is provided with one bubble cap. An electrically heated reboiler is installed at the bottom of the column. The bottom product is collected in the tank. The vapours form the top of column are condensed in the shell and tube type condenser by cooling water supplied by laboratory overhead tank. The condensate is divided into reflux and distillate by automatic reflux divider and R/D Ratio can be varied. Reflux is fed back to the column and distillate is received in a receiving tank. The complete column is insulated for minimizing the heat loss. Instrumentation provided for pressure & temp. measurement wherever necessary.
EXPERIMENTATION:
To estimate the batch distillation curves for a binary system and verify the binary batch distillation equation for a known number of theoretical plates.
To operate the column under total reflux condition and estimate the minimum number of theoretical plates required.
UTILITIES REQUIRED:
Water Supply 2 LPM at 5 m head.
Drain.
Electricity Supply: 1 Phase, 220 V AC, 6 kW.
Required Chemicals.
Refractometer for analysis.

LABORATORY CONCRETE PAN MIXER MACHINE
 Description:
A concrete pan mixer is equipment that is used for combining cement homogenously, and aggregate such as gravel, sand, and water to make concrete. The mixer makes use of revolving drum for mixing the components. Thus, by using the equipment, thorough and uniform mixed batches can be formed in laboratory or field. 
Specification:
The Laboratory Pan Mixer comes equipped with rubber tyre towing tongue that enables it to be moved and towed around by hand. The rotations of the equipment are powered by hand or through a three-phase electric motor joint with gear box to reduce the rotating speed at 20 to 25RPM . The lever enables the concrete to be placed into the mixing pan or the wheel-borrow. The driving shaft of the machine is placed on ball bearing which is sealed. The drum swivels are countered balanced and can be title to any angle for complete and quick discharge.
The equipment has been designed to minimize or eliminate the tedious task of hand mixing. Using the laboratory pan mixer, highly mixed batches can be developed. Moreover, the counter-balanced drum can be made to tilt easily by 1 to 2 cu. fl. mix.

LABORATORY CEMENT AUTOCLAVE
 Description:
The Autoclave is suitable for conducting accelerated soundness tests on cements of the autoclave expansion test requiring constant steam pressure with the correspondent constant pressure. 
Specification:
It consists of a stainless steel cylinder with a welded heat insulated voer, mounted on a sturdy supporting frame, enclosed in a heat insulated metal housing, attractively finished.
The attached control unit encloses a sensitive pressure regulator and pressure gauge, power switches and pilot lights for controlling the electric heating units.
Inside Chamber Dimensions-10.5 diameter x40.5cm height suitable for operation on 230V,50Hz, Single Phase, A.C. Supply.
Supplied complete with test bar holder, special rack to hold specimens above water level in the autoclave and in a vertical position to expose them in the same manner.   
 

SHRINKAGE BAR MOULD
Description:
The mould is used for casting specimens of cement aggregate combinations fro measuring the potential expansive alkali reactivity.  
Specification:
The mould, which has 25mm x 25mmx 250mm. effective gauge length is made of mild steel and has accurately machined faces.
The parts of the moulds are tight fitting and firmly held together when assembled. Supplied complete with base.
