WETTED WALL COLUMN MAKE : CREATIVE LAB MODEL NO:CLMT-22
DESCRIPTION:
The set up consists of a glass column. Water is fed at the top of the column along the walls to make the column a wetted wall column. Hot air from heating chamber with known humidity is allowed to pass through the column vertically upward and evaporation in the liquid film around the wall takes place. The flow rates of water and air can be independently varied to simulate different conditions. Instrumentation is provided to measure the dry and wet bulb temperatures at air inlet and outlet.
EXPERIMENTATION:
To determine the gas film coefficient in a wetted wall column using air-water system.
To find the mass transfer coefficient.
UTILITIES REQUIRED:
Compressed Air Supply at 2 Bar, 4 CFM.
Water supply.
Drain.
Electricity Supply: 1 Phase, 220 V AC, 0.5 kW.

PACKED BED REACTOR (COMPRESSED AIR FEED SYSTEM)
TECHNICAL DETAIL
A Reactor column having capacity 1.2 liters, should be made of stainless steel 304 Grade and packed with Rasching Rings, Size 6-8mm, made of Borosilicate Glass. 
Feed circulated by compressed air system from two feed tanks having capacity 60 liters, 1.2 mm thick, made of stainless steel 304 grade and measured by Rotameters. 
Bourdon type Pressure gauge, 0-2 Kg/cm2 and pressure regulators, 0-2 Kg/cm2 
All the ball Valves should be imported. Operating temperature range -40°F to 302°F, Working pressure of valve range of 600psi & valves use in vacuum pressure up to 2x10-5 psi. 
The whole set-up well designed and arranged on a rigid structure painted with industrial PU Paint.

HYDRODYNAMICS OF TRICKLE BED REACTOR
TECHNICAL DETAIL
A packed bed, Dia. 80mm, Height 600mm, made of stainless steel 304 Grade should be packed with Two type of packing i.e. Glass Beads, Dia. 3mm & Rasching Rings, size 8-10mm.
Feed circulated by Centrifugal Pump, FHP, Crompton/Standard make from liquid feed tank, Capacity-60 Ltrs, made of Stainless Steel 304 grade and measured by Rotameter. 
Air tank of compatible capacity, mixing chamber, liquid catch pot made of stainless steel and solenoid valve. 
Bourdon type Pressure gauge, 0-2 Kg/cm2 and two pressure regulators, 0-2 Kg/cm2 and 0-10 kg/cm2 . 
All the ball Valves imported.
