RAPID MOISTURE METER
 Description:
This is used for quick determination of moisture content of materials in powder form viz. soil, and, coal, pottery slip, cement etc. Calcium Carbide when comes in contact with moisture acetylene gas is generate This principle is used in Rapid Moisture Meter. A weighed quantity of sample is mixed with fixed quantity of Calcium Carbide reagent and the whole mixture is thoroughly shaken in a vessel to which a pressure gauge is fixed. The acetylene gas produced develops pressure and pressure gauge in calibrated to read percentage moisture. The instrument indicates moisture on wet/weight BLS easily convertible to dry weight basis. 
 

SPEEDY MOISTURE METER
 Description:
A Speedy Moisture Meter apparatus is used to quickly determine the moisture content of the materials in a powder form viz. sand, soil, coal, cement, pottery slip etc. An acetylene gas is generated when a calcium carbide comes in contact with the moisture. A fixed quantity of the calcium carbide is mixed with the weighted quantity of the sample, and then the whole mixture is shaken well in a vessel where a pressure gauge is being fixed. The pressure which is developed by the acetylene gas, produced in the vessel and the pressure gauge calibrated to read the moisture percentage. This instrument indicates the moisture percentage on wet weight basis which is easily convertible to the dry weight basis. 

SOIL RESISTIVITY METER
 Description:
The Soil Resistivity Meter is determined to find soil resistivity for a variety of applications, including pipelines, tanks, wells, etc.
It is used in the field or in the lab with the optional Soil Box that is made of strong plastic resins allowing for rugged field use. Material is clear for easy visual inspection and cleaning.
 Soil resistivity testing is the process of measuring a volume of soil to determine the conductivity of the soil. The resulting soil resistivity is expressed in ohm-meter or ohm-centimeter. 
 

UNIVERSAL EXTRUDER FRAME HYDRAULIC
 Description:
The extractor frame is used for taking out soil samples compacted or undisturbed, from 100mm dia and 150mm dia cylinders such as Core Cutters, Proctor moulds, C.B.R.  moulds etc.
Specification:
It consists of a 50Kn capacity hand operated, hydraulic jack mounted on a suitable frame. Two plungers, one for 4”/100mm dia and the other of 6”/150 mm dia moulds are supplied Height of thrust plate is adjustable.
 

DOUBLE RING SOIL INFILTROMETER
 Description:
The Double Ring Soil Infiltrometer is a simple instrument which is used to determine the infiltration rate of water into the soil. The infiltration rate is determinate as the amount of water per surface area and time unit, which penetrates the soils. This rate can be calculated on the basis of the measurements and the darcy's law. Several measurements can be executed simultaneously, yielding a very reliable and accurate mean result. As vertically infiltrated water runs away to the side. The outer ring of the infiltrometer serves as a separation. The measurement exclusively takes place in the inner ring through which the water runs virtually vertically. The instrument consists of two rings, driving plate, for inner and outer rings. The two rings are driven into the ground and partially filled with water. The double ring design helps prevent divergent flow in layered soils. The outer ring acts as a barrier to encourage only vertical flow from the inner ring. the standard set of the double ring infiltrometer consist of 2 steel rings with different diameters, a hammer, floats, a stainless steel hammering cross and a stopwatch.
