KINEMATIC WATER BATH
 Description:
Kinematic Viscometer Bath is used for measuring the resistance flow of oils. Kinematic viscosity is a very critical parameter or a factor of oils. Kinematic Viscosity Bath equipment is utilized to measure the kinematic viscosity of a variety of oils such as lubricating fluid, crude oil, peanut oil, and diesel fuel etc.
Kinematic Viscometer Bath designed as per IS: 1206 (part II) clearing bitumen (IS:73:2006) at 60°C, that utilizes the vacuum slender viscometer to test the complete absolute viscosity of tar and bitumen materials. It can measure the supreme thickness of consistency, which is very crucial in certain industries. It offers accurate temperature reading and measuring with the highest efficiency with précised digital display.
Specification:
Consistent Temperature Bath - A suitable steeliness steel shower for drenching of no less than 2 vacuum fine viscometer tubes with a PID based computerized temperature controller. The precision of the temperature in the shower will be + 0.1oC all through the shower.
 
Vacuum System –A vacuum system capable of keeping up a vacuum inside + 0.05 cm of the coveted level The system will comprise of vacuum pump, dampness trap, vacuum controller, drain valve, all interconnecting tubing/channeling, and some other frill as required to finish the vacuum framework.
 
Thermometer for Bath - Mercury type thermometer, run 37.8 to 82oC
 
Timing Device - A stop watch is fit of perusing up to 1 second.
 

LOSS ON HEATING(THIN FILM OVEN)
 Description:
Loss on Heating/Thin Film Oven is used for testing the loss of heat and thin film test for asphaltic and bitumen materials. The Loss on heating thin film oven helps to determine the effect of heat on the asphaltic materials in the oven under pre-defined conditions. It provides accurate results in terms of the changes happen to the sample mass or its properties. 
Specification:
It is a dual purpose oven and helps to determine the loss in the weight of flux and bitumen oil along with the effect of air and heat on the asphaltic materials.
It is insulated heavily with a double glass door to view the test chamber thermometer and samples.
Comes with a variable temperature controller and thermostat to control the temperature at 163° C ± 1° C.
Two rotating platforms, one for the loss on heating test accepts 9 standard penetration cups and another for the thin film test that accepts two 140mm diameter test pans.
With the help of external motor platforms can be rotated at 5 to 6 rpm.
 

ROLLING THIN FILM OVEN
 Description:
The rolling thin film oven is used to measure the effect of heat and air on a moving film of semisolid asphalt binder. The results of this treatment are determined from measurements of the binder properties before and after the test. Repeatability of the test is directly related to the accuracy with which the oven temperature can be maintained and the reproducibility of the thermal rise time of the system.

WATER PROOFING TEST APPARATUS FOR ASPHALT
 Description:
This apparatus is used to determine the water proofing of the petroleum bitumen felt and the roofing sheet. The apparatus has a main body fitted with hydraulic pressure system, three specimen holder, Pressure gauge and control knobs. 
 

WHEEL RUT SHAPER
 Description:
This apparatus is used to prepare the bitumen specimen for wheel rut testing used in research and road construction. It compacts asphalt slabs to a target density in a size of 300x300x50 mm. The machine has a bearing car which has a mould for sample preparation loaded by rolling wheel vertically. The bearing car moves 300 mm in and out for homogenous compaction of specimen by rolling wheel. The rolling wheel is compacted thru pneumatic cylinder and has in built heater to heat up the specimen thru top cover of mould. The bearing car moves in and out on crank shaft, gear wheel with eccentric shaft mechanism. Automatically controlled compaction, Start and Emergency stop switches are provided in the machine.
